Benita Luhrman is the proud owner of Four Paws Pet Sitting Service. She
has lived in the Gibsonia area for the past eight years and has always loved animals,
ever since she was a young child. This love for animals inspired Benita to
become a veterinary technician. She worked as a vet tech for the Western PA Humane Society and for a cat clinic and hospital in Bloomfield, Pittsburgh.
In her free time, she trained and showed two German shepherds.
Benita also managed an exotic pet shop, which sold everything from alligators to leopards.
She learned to manage, train, maintain, breed and sell exotic birds. She also bred and sold hard to find freshwater angel
fish. Today, Benita, her husband, and three daughters share a home with a Russian Siberian cat named Nikolai,
two ferrets, Bandit and Stormy, and three hamsters, Chiquita, Domino, and Fresco.
She also has a 250 gallon fish tank with Oscars and a 3,000 gallon pond filled
with Japanese Koi.
